Your investment makes a difference!
On AgoraNatura, you invest in certified nature conservation projects. You choose which region you would like to support and which ecosystem services are most important, for example diversity of animal and plant life, pollination by insects or reduction of harmful greenhouse gas emissions. Each petal of the AgoraNatura blossom signifies which of these services is supported by your chosen project.
And here's how it works:
Choose a project
To decide which nature conservation project you would like to invest in, click on "Choose a project". When you click on a project page, you can find detailed information about the ecosystem services it supports, the project background, people involved, exact location of the site, and more. This is also where you can find out whether you invest in a project. via donation, service agreement or working contract with the project supplier. For specific questions, you can directly contact the land use (the individual or organisation proposing the project).
Buy certificates
If you would like to help to initiate a project through your investment, the best way to do this is to buy certificates. One certificate represents an investment of 100 m2 for one year of the project's duration. Once you have selected the number of certificates you would like to buy, you can review them in your basket and select one of the payment options at the checkout.
Wait for full funding
An AgoraNatura project can only be initiated if all nature conservation certificates are sold within the project supplier's specified funding period. The number of days left, as well as the number of certificates needed for the project to get started, is indicated on each project page. If the project is not successfully funded in time, you will receive a full refund of your payment.
Receive certificate(s)
Once the project has been successfully funded, you will automatically receive an email from AgoraNatura, with your personalised certificate of investment. In case of an investment in a fundraising project (investment via donation), you will receive a certificate of charitable contribution from the project supplier.
Experience the project
You will have the opportunity to see what's happening on-site while the project is being implemented. The project suppliers will provide regular updates with photos, short messages and audio or video input, so that you can be a part of everything that's taking place at the project location. You can find detailed information on your personal "My AgoraNatura" account and be updated via email.
