Who can offer a project?
- You work in a landscape conservation association, a nature conservation organisation or foundation, belong to a support association or are a landowner or farmer?
- Do you want to implement projects on your land or leased land, either alone or together with the people farming there?
- Are you able to make a well-founded assessment of how valuable the area is and can be in terms of nature conservation, or would you like to involve the relevant experts?
- Are you ready to take responsibility for the implementation of the project and coordinate other stakeholders?
- The only thing you're missing is the financing?
What can I offer as a project?
AgoraNatura is about promoting and making visible biodiversity and the associated nature services. As a project, you offer to preserve or develop an area of high nature conservation value. To do this, you are guided by our guidelines set out by the Natureplus-Standard already recognised Project types. As a result, you provide the expected Nature's achievements an.
Describe project
To prepare your project description, we have put together an extra page to help you. Finally, your project description must be attractive and at the same time accepted by the certification body. An online form is then available to you for the description. It contains all the necessary fields and gives you the opportunity to present your project in a concise and appealing way.
- In the form, you will find notes on individual form fields and a "Preview", with which you can see how the project representation is created from your entries.
- If you want to fill in the form in several steps, you can save the data and call it up again later via your "My AgoraNatura".
- Once everything has been entered, you have your entries checked for completeness and can then release your project description directly for certification.
You can access the online form after registering and logging in to AgoraNatura.
Get certified
Once your project has been fully described, you can send it directly for certification with a click of the mouse. There, an independent Certification bodywhether your statements are plausible and all the Criteria of natureplus-Standards be complied with.
If any questions arise during this check, the certification body will contact you directly. In this case, you can easily make adjustments to the project description via the online form and resubmit it.
In the course of this, you will be asked to identify yourself to our financial service provider secupay. The contract with secupay enables money to be raised for your project via AgoraNatura in an uncomplicated way for six months.
Once certification is successfully completed, your project automatically goes online and the funding phase begins. Plan the start of your project so that you can take advantage of the maximum possible funding period of six months.
Find investors
Nature conservation certificates for your project are generated on the basis of your information on area size and duration. One certificate stands for 100 m2 area and a project duration of one year. In the project description, you also indicate what the project will cost; this total price is automatically broken down to the individual certificates.
Private individuals and companies can now purchase the certificates for their project through AgoraNatura and thus finance its implementation. If necessary, interested parties will contact you with questions before placing a payable order. This gives you the chance for a direct exchange with possible financing partners.
If all certificates of your project have been ordered and you have agreed, the deposited amounts will be transferred to your account. At the same time, the investors will receive their conservation certificates from AgoraNatura by email.
In the case of a donation project or an investment by a company, you need to send donation receipts or an invoice to the investors to complete the full funding. AgoraNatura will provide you with all the necessary information.
Report results
Once all certificates have been sold, you can start implementing your project. In your "My AgoraNatura" you manage your project. For example, you can post news, photos or audio recordings here, which will then appear on the project page. In this way, you can easily report on the progress and make your project tangible for investors and interested parties. This ensures transparency and provides insights into your work, which can promote further engagement in the medium term.
Regular reporting is also important for certification. Once a year you have to confirm the successful implementation of your project with a short report. You will find the appropriate tools for this in your "My AgoraNatura". If you have already reported on the implementation and results throughout the year, you can simply combine this news into one report. The certification body randomly audits selected projects every year based on these reports and the results on site. If any difficulties arise in the course of the project, contact directly the Certification body.
On the page “Here you will find support“ you will find more detailed information on how to prepare your project description and the contact details of our proposal experts. If you have any feedback or suggestions, you can also write directly to us at info[a]agora-natura.de

"Land management can only be done in harmony with nature. Through their investments, companies and private individuals make it clear to us as farmers that the social will for more biodiversity and the recognition of its benefits is there."
Pioneer farmer
"Smaller areas are already sufficient for such a project. Land that is difficult to use for agriculture can be put to good use, for example land with low yields.
